Twilight School

Zero blinked sullonly out the window of his dorm room at the new students arriving. They all had to arrive at night otherwise some of them would turn to dust. Zero frankly didn't care who came or what species they were because with every student it was the same, they took one look at him & either started whispering things to other students or laughing at him because he didn't know what species he was.

Zero watched a girl get out of a car with his dim, silver eyes. He blinked slowly like he was tired & sighed. He showed no interest in what was going on outside or inside the school even when he wasn't in his room. He slumped down on his bed & ran his fingers thru his silvery hair before closing his eyes.

Zero breathed in & smelled a new scent in the room with him, he opened his eyes. He looked over at the girl he had seen arriving & sighed, he turned his head back to the ceiling without a word.

Zero flinched abit as the door slammed, he glanced over at the bags the girl had dropped & rolled over on his side. He knew food was going to be provided for the new students, but "food" was an understatement. The very large cafeteria would be packed with food & students in only a few minutes but Zero didn't even feel the need to eat as he layed silently on the bed.

Zero slowly breathed which, to any one a few feet away, would look like he wasn't breathing at all. He could sense the girl outside but didn't really care what she did even if it was to him.

Zero didn't turn to look at her or even really move at all, he just looked at the gray wall next to his bed.

Zero suddenly felt slightly compelled to at least introduce himself to the girl & appologize for acting this way but he reminded himself what all the other students had done when he had first came to the school. He looked down & closed his eyes while kicking off his shoes.

Zero's eyes widened abit & slowly turned his head to look at the girl with an almost expressionless face apart from slight curiousity.

Zero creased his eyebrows abit in an unregistered expression, his eyes showed emptyness mostly. But somewhere in the shadows he showed agony, misery & a long broken heart that he barely hid. He blinked abit & turned back the facing the wall unwillingly to look into any one's eyes ever again.

Zero pressed his lips together & slowly turned to face Artemis, he avoided looking her directly in the eyes. He kept his arms crossed lightly on his chest & legs stretched out, had an expression like he was depressed.

Zero's eyes widened & looked at Artemis in surprise.

Zero had never felt any one touch him before, his parents never actually hugged him before & no one dared get this close to him. He looked pretty surprised & curious, he tilted his head abit. He slowly reached out to touch Artemis's cheek but frowned & pulled his arm back, he looked down.

Zero raised his eyes to Artemis & looked down in a 'No-I'm-sorry' expression.

Zero opened his mouth to say something but closed it & got up quietly, he left the room to master bathroom that was for the students on their floor. He went inside & took a scolding hot shower & afterwards put his clothes half way on. He wore black pants & his white button up shirt was only hanging off his thin pale frame as he slumped down to the tile floor. His silver hair clund to the back of his neck from the water & water drops from his hair dripped to the floor.
